Updating Our Spring Routine: New Trends, New arrivals

Today I wanted to share a little update on our weekend routine- which also includes a wardrobe update!

Our favorite thing to do on the weekend is take the pups to the beach - it is the perfect exercise for them and quite frankly they just about go crazy and have so much fun. AND- I have so much fun watching them!

The past few beach trips have been a little difficult with the icy/ rainy weather. But, this weekend was perfect- nothing but sunshine! So I was able to wear light layers when we went to the beach. Also, the warmer weather means I can finally wear all the new spring arrivals. I can totally get around something that is functional, budget friendly and cute! 

Today’s outfit is from the #wedressamerica campaign by @walmart. Spring is here and so are all their new arrivals that come in so many fun styles. They carry variety of brands that are budget friendly and come with two-day  free shipping (it does not get better than that). For example, this cute stripe hoodieis less than $17- available in a few colors! Also, these nude espadrilles are under $60 and available in 7 different colors! Sometimes it is hard to strike a good balance between cute and affordable, but Walmart makes it easy and convenient.

What is also really great, is that both these pieces can be used for many Spring looks! These espadrilles go with just about every spring outfit you can wear. The neutral color is so versatile- I’ve already worn them everyday since I’ve had them. And this hoodie looks so cute layered under jackets too- I can already picture this paired with a denim jacket.
