Sweater // Jeans // Handbag //

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

I first wanted to say thank you to all of you that support and read this blog. I am so thankful and grateful for each and everyone of you!

My sister and I were just talking about how CRAZY this year has been. But, I mean, that's life. Life is  good and bad sometimes. And sometimes is is just amazing. So it's better to focus on the good- always.

This year I'm extra greatful for my family and friends. I would not be the person I am today without them. AND I'm extra excited for my growing family...which is this cute furry bear. Her name is Bagheera and she makes me so f'n happy. She is the sweetest dog and doesn't know her size. She is 6 months and when she jumps on me she knocks me over sometimes. She is a newfoundland dog so I'm excited to see how big she ends up getting in the next few months!

Anyhow, enough of that.

Below, I am sharing some of my favorite sales and some of the things I am getting. Some of these sales I've been waiting on all year because the savings are too good.

I ordered it in grey because it's such a classic style that is more versatile than a color coat. I'm also obsessing over all these earrings! The jewelry and pajamas would make great gifts too.

Ten Things I'm Craving Right Now

Wednesday, November 15, 2017

Happy Wednesday  Everyone!

So I have been on a holiday funk… and I’ve been finding it hard to get in the holiday spirit. So I find the best way to get in the spirit is to go shopping haha. I know that sounds so lame and vein. But, it’s fun to find seasonal things that make you excited for the holidays like Christmas d├ęcor or winter-y clothing. I always think that in SoCal the weather takes too long to cool down so the holidays always seem to come suddenly. Anyhow, many of the items above like this green fur trimmed parka and these fur boots are at top of my list; mainly because they make me excited for Winter.

1.  Cozy Olive Parka Jacket- I love the Fur trim on this Parka Jacket! This long jacket is such a simple and classic style that is perfect for any outdoorsy trip.

2. Black and White Plaid Blouse- The bow top on this blouse is such a cute twist on the classic button up style- so cute and feminine.

3.  Neutral Backpack- I have been crushing CRUSHING on backpacks! I think they are so practical for traveling because you can be hands free while you carry all the things you need.

4. Seasonal Mug -  Who doesn't need another cute mug?

5. Chunky Tassel Scarf- I cannot stress enough how obsessed I am about this scarf. It SO worth the money….because it’s only $25!! It’s a thick knit material and the tassels are so big! Trust me you need it.

6. Button Up Chambray Top- Chambray tops are a cult classic. I’ve been crushing on this one because it’s the classis style that never goes out of style.

7. Holiday Scented Candles – I love these candles they such a great value and smell so great!

8. Shearling Vest – I love the trim on this vest and the best thing is that it’s so affordable.

9. Kiehl's Essentials Set- I love the holidays because of all cosmetic sets that come out. And these little sets are always great because you get to try different products to see which one you love best.

10. Sorel Fur Boots- I know fur boots aren’t the most practical for living in SoCal but they are just too cute and I cannot talk myself out of them. I NEED these- so that justifies it right?!

Anyhow, I hope you enjoy the roundup and get a little holiday inspiration. xoxo

Fall Favorites: Floral Maxi Dress, Velvet Pants, and Fave Black Jeans

Tuesday, November 14, 2017

Hey everyone!

So today’s post is really exciting for me to share… well it’s more so that I'm excited for it so I hope you all enojoy it. It was so much fun to style and put together! Fall fashion is actually my favorite because of how creative you can get with layering and pairing cozy fabrics. Today I’ve teamed up with Banana republic to share some ideas on how to style some of the best Fall trends. I’ll be rounding up my favorite ways to wear a floral dress for Fall, velvet pants, and classic black jeans.

Long Sleeve Floral Maxi Dress | Victoria Sam Edelman Knee High Boots | Henri Bendel Hobo Bag

One of my favorite things about Fall and Winter is wearing dresses with boots. I think it looks so chic! Sometimes it can be hard to find floral prints that work for colder months. However smaller floral designs in neutral colors seem to be the most fitting. This dress is so pretty and I can’t help but feel so feminine in it. I mean, look at the cute neck ties. I’m seriously obsessed with all the details on it!! I also love the shorter hem on this dress because it makes it so perfect to wear with tall boots (and looks great with slides too). Also, these boots are currently on sale and they are the most flattering style.

Olive Velvet Pants | Black Studded Heel Sandals | Black Ruffle Sleeve Sweater |

Velvet is one of my favorite trends for Fall. This fabric is so unique that it instantly makes an outfit interesting. I personally love how it looks paired with knits- so cozy! These high-waisted pants are actually very comfortable and stretchy. Also, the velvet is a subtle shade of olive that easily pairs with other colors.

Blue Plaid Blazer | Black Distressed Denim | Black Studded Mules | Henri Bendel Tote |

Black denim jeans are easily my most worn item during the holiday months. Black jeans are my favorite closet staple because they go with EVERYTHING. I love how they can easily be dressed up or down with a cute blouse or classic blazer, like this blue plaid option. My favorite way to wear them is with a simple tee or cozy sweater. What is great about these jeans is that they have a cute frayed cut off hem and subtle cuts around the knees. They also hold up well when you wash them- the color does not fade and the denim is very comfortable!

Shopbop SALE -Gearing Up for Fall: Knit Sweaters and Booties

Wednesday, September 27, 2017

So one of the best sales just went live today. I love this sale because EVERYTHING is on sale!! It's not like other sales where only a small selection is on sale. SO I am going to snag a couple favorites that rarely go on sale. On the top of my list are this suede jacket, these shorts, and some printed booties. Some of these items I was going to purchase anyways so now I'm glad I waited because I can get them on major sale. BUT don't wait because the sale only lasts 3 days!

Moto Suede Jacket- Available in 3 colors!
SO this is an item that I've been waiting to get during this sale! I was kicking myself when I missed it during the Nsale. So now I'm finally getting it! yay!!

Statement Earrings
I love how these kind of beaded earing look on everyone. I don't usually wear earrings; I stick to small studs. But, for Fall I think these statement earrings will be so beautiful for holiday occasions.

Cozy Sweaters for Fall
I am dying over here over all the cute sweaters. I love the fun ruffles, off the shoulder details, and bright colors. I am also getting extra exited for Fall because the temperature is finally dropping and getting cold enough for sweaters!!

Simple Crossbody- Dupe for Gucci
I love the design on this bag. And, the best part is that it is SO SO affordable. It's such a cute dupe for the popular Gucci crossbody and is available in 3 colors.

Distressed Denim Shorts and Jeans
This is another reason I love this sale. I get to snag some favorite denim items that never go on sale. I am ordering this pair of the One Teaspoon shorts (since I never find this style on sale). I know it may sound strange to order shorts when it's Fall. But, I love wearing shorts with sweaters- we are in SoCal after all.

Printed Booties
I have been eyeing several pairs of printed booties. The list is so long on the ones I love that I haven't been able to make up my mind. I have narrowed it down and I really love to these snake printed ones.   With the sale price I don't feel as guilty buying these since I want a couple other pairs- oops.

Leopard Anything and Everything!
It's not a surprise that I love leopard print. And, this season it is everywhere! I have seen so many leopard print booties- that I am tempted to buy another pair (there are so many cute ones this year). I also love this classic leopard clutch. Every year it's on my list and I never get it. There are also some cute leopard sweaters and this unique splurge worthy jacket.

Styling Military Messenger Handbag with Simple LBD

Black T-Shirt Dress: Socialite (under $50) | Black Platform Espadrilles- Marc Fisher (NOW 40% off!) | Embellished Military Crossbody Bag- Henri Bendel c/o |

Happy Monday everyone!

I'm really excited to share today's post for two reasons. The first being that we shot these pictures by an art mural on Melrose street AND more importantly who doesn't love standing under a rainbow?! Second is that I finally get to share this cute embellished handbag.

I’ve been crushing on all and anything military. The military trend is by far my favorite for fall and I’ve loved styling it into outfits to transition my summer wardrobe into fall. This embellished bag is my newest obsession. I cannot get enough of all the cute details on it! I love that I can wear a simple outfit, and completely feel put together when wearing this bag.

It’s still really warm in Southern California so I’m still wearing light weight t-shirt dresses and these espadrilles. These espadrilles have been a favorite of mine this year because the tall platform makes my legs look extra-long. Also, I have to mention that they are on MAJOR sale (40% off- I’m considering get these nude colored ones).

Summer Tunic: Green Coldshoulder Dress and Espadrille Wedges

Green Tunic- Free People | Espadrille Wedges- Marc Fisher | Crossbody handbag- SheIn c/o |

Happy Wednesday Loves!

So you may have noticed the blog looks slightly different. I’m currently working on updating the layout design to make it more user friendly (aka cute-er)! Since the holidays are coming up I thought it is a great time to get all the design kinks fixed now. Fair warning things may keep changing on here until I get everything just how I want it.

I started my blog so long ago… I started it as a hobby and never spent time on getting the layout perfect. I first started with the generic blogger templates…then added an Etsy premade template…and now I’m working on customizing this new one. I love to blog and would love to expand and grow this hobby into a more stable job. BUT, first things are first and I want to spend time fixing the foundations of my blog. Hopefully this new template will optimize the experience of my readers. So, thank you for your patience and for your continuous support.

Now about today’s blog post. I am sharing this cute green tunic that I instantly fell in love with because of the beautiful green color. In my opinion FreePeople makes some of the cutest prints. However, sometimes I struggle to find practicality in some pieces that have unique silhouettes (or too short in length). This tunic is actually the perfect length, so it worked as a dress for me (as reference, I am 5’8”). I bought it because it will also be a great transitioning piece for Fall. It is too warm in SoCal to wear pants but in the Fall I will be great with legging and booties! Today I am sharing how I wore it with my favorite black espadrilles and this studded crossbody bag. These espadrilles have been the best investment. I hesitated on getting them in the Spring because $160 seems like too much for espadrilles. But, I am so glad I pulled the trigger!! Also, I feel like they make my legs look longer!
